Lake Monroe - April 6, 2008 |
What a beautiful day it was to be fishing yesterday in our first event of the season. Although the fishing was tough for some, the team of Ron Bricker & Nick Lux managed to find enough fish to win the season opener at Lake Monroe. Ron & Nick had 4 fish that weighted 11.72 lbs. Winning a check for $2418.00. Great Job Guy's! The second place team was the team of Jon Logue & J.D. Kyle. They weighed in 2 fish that weighed 8.53 lbs. earning them a check for $1209.00. Third place team was the team of Chris Klosterman & Jason Vanosdol. They had 3 fish that weighed 7.62 lbs. earning a check for $837.00. Big Bass of the tournament was a 6.31 lbs. toad caught by the team of Jim Helums & Monroe Terry. They also finished 5th, earning them a check for $1628.00.
