2006 Senior's Circuit - August 23, 2006 |
Yesterday was a wonderful day for fishing, or should I say for catching on Lake Monroe. There were 80 fish caught with the total weight of 206.47 lbs. 34 teams weighted in fish out of 42 teams that fished. There were (4) 5 fish limits brought in. I am also happy to report that we only lost 2 fish at this event. You should all be commended for your efforts to keep your fish alive. We only had 1 fish that was brought in to the scales that was dead. When I left the area at about 8:00 p.m. there were no others that was lost. With all the problems that some tournaments in Wisconsin are having, we should feel pretty good about that. The Tournament Winners were the team of Dick Ferguson / Dan Pardue they had 5 fish with the total weight of 15.53 lbs, their winnings for 1st Place was $1260.00 Plus an additional $1000.00 Skeeter Real Money for fishing out of a Skeeter Boat!
2nd Place & Big Bass Winner a (6.11 lbs toad) went to the team of Larry Hostetler / Jack Mundt. They had 4 fish that weighed 14.99 lbs. earning them a check for $1090.00. 3rd Place was the team of Gary Mock / Dean Starkey. They weighed in a 3 fish that weighted 13.19 lbs, they also had the 2nd Big Bass of the tournament a 5.48 lbs. fish. There winnings was a total of $ 310.00 Great Job to all the Winners!
With only one event left for the 2006 season. There is $5408.00 in the Classic Fund. Our last event of the season will be at Morse Res. Don't forget that we will be drawing for 3 FREE positions into the 2006 Classic at this event if you have fished all 6 events.
