2006 Team Circuit - June 4, 2006 |
Sunday was a beautiful day. There were 153 bass brought to the scales, by 66 teams with the total weight of 383.49 lbs. The Tournament Winners were the team of Charlie Hentrup & John Schroeing with the total weight of 18.78 lbs Their winnings for 1st Place was $3366.00 this also included the Big Bass of the tournament a 5.52 lbs. Toad. They also earned additional $1000.00 Skeeter Real Money for winning the event in a Skeeter boat Powered by a Yamaha Motor. 2nd Place & Top Female / Male Team went to the team of Sue Parrish & Roy Brand. They had a 5 fish limit that weighed 14.17 lbs. Earning them a check for $1222.00 3rd Place was the team of Jason Rigdon & Johnny Wilson They weighed in a 5 fish limit of 12.57 lbs, winning $816.00. Great Job to all the Winners!
As of Sunday's event there is $6044.00 in the Classic Fund. The Points Standings have been updated & your 2006 Points Leaders going into our 4th event at Rocky Point on the Ohio River on June 25, 2006 is still the team of George Cox & Terry Bell with 256 points. Not far behind are the teams of Sue Parrish & Roy Brand & in 3rd are last years Points Champions David & Ed Hargis with 239 points. The Race continues for the $1000.00 Cash Prize from Old Milwaukee, & the 2 Custom Made Rods from Bob White of Loon Country Custom Tackle. Good Luck to all of you! In Sunday's tournament, we were ask to participate with the DNR & Early Times on a tagging program for a Promotional event for Early Times out of Louisville, Kentucky. Jack Smith from Early Times tagged several bass & successfully released these fish in different locations around the lake. Tony Hazelwood from the DNR supervised this operation. As of today I don't have all of the details of how this program will be working. Jack Smith is suppose to be contacting me about it in the near future. I will post this on our site under the sponsor page on our site when I get it. Thank all of you for your participation in this program. Great job from all of you! Don't forget that Patoka Station has added to our raffle this year a $50.00 Gift Certificate. All you have to do is stop by and buy anything at Patoka Station on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, July 20, 21 or 22nd get a receipt from your purchase, sign your name on the back of it & put it in our designated tub before the raffle on Sunday July 23, 2006. You may enter as many times as you like. This includes anything in their store, Even Fuel! Patoka Station is one of our great sponsors so keep this in mind when making your room reservations also! I'm sure that most of you get tired of me talking about our sponsors, but like I tell you at every event without them you won't have a Raffle like ours & I promise you, your entry fee's will increase in the future with out them. This is just the way that it works! Please take a few minutes & read the Rules of our tournament. These rules should be understood by all anglers fishing our events.
