SENIOR'S TOURNAMENT MAY 24, 2006 - SALAMONIE |
I guess you could say that we missed it up at Salamonie today. This was the worst weigh-in that I have ever seen anywhere! With 49 boats, there were only (38) fish caught today with the total weight of 85.69 lbs.. The Tournament Winners were the team of Richard Beitman & Richard Huffman with the weight of 9.91 lbs, their winnings for 1st Place was $1450.00. 2nd Place team was Dave Bennett & H.R. Smith they had 3 fish, weighing 8.38 lbs. winning $725.00. 3rd Place was the team of Dennis Newton & Bob Roush they brought in 2 fish weighing 6.26 lbs, winning $325.00. The Big Bass winner of the tournament was H.R. Smith. He brought in 5.08 lbs. Toad! This earned him $490.00 for this catch! Also H.R. Smith along With Dave Bennett. Great Job to all the Winners!
As of today's event there is $2336.00 in the Classic Fund. The points standings are now posted & your 2006 Senior's Points Leaders going into our 3rd event at Monroe on June 14, 2006, are the team of Dave Bennett & H.R. Smith they have 198 points. Not far behind is the team of Ron Short & Bill Folkening with 190 points. The Race is on for the $500.00 Cash Prize from Old Milwaukee! Good Luck to all of you!
