2006 Team Circuit - May 14, 2006 |
Sunday started out with rain, up to about weigh in time. There were 136 bass brought to the scales, by 89 teams with the total weight of 370.90 The Tournament Winners were the team of Tom Forrester & John Santos with the weight of 15.84 lbs, their winnings for 1st Place was $2070.00 2nd Place not far behind was the team of Chris Klosterman & Robert Brison They had a 5 fish limit that weighed 15.82 lbs. and won $990.00 3rd Place was the team of Nathan Gray & Danny Blandford They weighed in a 5 fish limit of 14.06 lbs, winning $375.00 The Big Bass winner of the tournament was Denise Teeters. She brought in a 7.23 lbs. pig! She earned $910.00 for her catch. Great Job to all the Winners!
As of Sunday's event there is $4055.00 in the Classic Fund. The points standings are now posted & your 2006 Points Leaders going into our 3rd event at Patoka on June 4, 2006 are the team of George Cox & Terry Bell they have 176 points. Not far behind are the teams of Dick Ferguson & Kean Macowan & the team of David Sanders & Rod Keel both teams have 172 points. The Race is on for the $1000.00 Cash Prize from Old Milwaukee, & the 2 Custom Made Rods from Bob White of Loon Country Custom Tackle. Good Luck to all of you! Something that I forgot to mention Sunday was, that Patoka Station has added in addition to a free nights stay in our raffle this year is a $50.00 Gift Certificate. All you have to do is stop by and buy anything at Patoka Station on Thursday, Friday, Saturday June 1, 2, 3 get a receipt then sign your name on the back of it & put it in our desiccated tub before the raffle on Sunday June 4, 2006, you may enter as many times as you like. This includes anything in their store, Even Fuel! Patoka Station is another one of our great sponsors so keep this in mind when making your room reservations also! This offer is also good for our July 23rd tournament on Patoka. I'm sure that most of you get tired of me harping on you about using our sponsors, but like I tell you at every event without them you won't have a Raffle like ours & I promise you, your entry fee's will increase in the future with out them.
