SENIOR'S TOURNAMENT Patoka - April 19, 2006 |
Today started out not very promising, with a lot of heavy storms & rain up to about a half hour before take off time. I was in shock at weigh-in time to see 101 bass brought to the scales by 43 teams with the total weight of 307.34 lbs. The Tournament Winners were the team of Charlie Hentrup & Kenny Reed. They brought in a limit of 5 bass that weighed 20.33 lbs. They also had the 2nd B.B. of the tournament a 5.99 lbs. toad. Charlie, a Skeeter boat owner powered by a Yamaha motor, won an additional $1000.00 from Skeeter's new money program for Skeeter Owners. Their winnings total $2600.00 for today's event. In 2nd place not far behind was Dave Bennett & H.R Smith. they also had a limit that weighed 18.32 lbs. They also had a 5.98 lbs. fish, winning $800.00 In 3rd place was the team of Ron Short & Bill Folkening they weighed in a 5 fish limit of 16.15 lbs., winning $375.00. The Big Bass winner of the tournament was Gene Amos & Chester Crabtree they brought in a 6.02 lbs. pig! They earned $560.00 for their catch. Great Job to all the Winners!
