Big River - August 30, 2004 |
Yesterday was a really good day on Lake Monroe for many anglers with 35 teams weighing in fish. There was 3 - 5 fish limits caught. There were 71 fish brought to the scales with the total weight of 179.31 lbs. The team of Michael Quinlin & Lewis Mallory managed to bring in the winning weight of 15.70 lbs. 2nd. Place was won by the team of David Hargis & Ed Hargis with 15.18 Lbs. Todd Easton had the Big Bass of the tournament a 6.86 Lbs. Bass. He won $610.00. The 2nd Big Bass winner was Jim Eller Sr. with a 6.40 lbs. Bass he was awarded a new G-Loomis Rod from Big River. Congratulations to all the winners!
This tournament was a great event. My staff and I would like to thank Norm & Sally For the great shirts that they had made for all of us. I very much enjoyed putting on this event for them & all of you and hope be able to do it again next year? The Coulters are great folks and have been a great sponsor to our events and hope to be with them for a very long time. I also hope that all of you come join us to the Got 2 Love It circuit in 2005.
