Lake Monroe - August 16, 2004 |
Yesterday was a really tough day on Lake Monroe for many anglers with only 29 teams weighing in fish. There was 1- 5 fish limit caught. There were 58 fish brought to the scales with the total weight of 132.68 lbs. The team of Bryan Funkhouser & Todd Easton of Bloomington, In managed to bring in the winning weight of 10.00 Lbs. Bryan also had 2nd. Big Bass of the tournament a 3.95 Lbs. Bass. He was awarded a G-Loomis Rod from Bryan Hensley of Mid-American Sport Sales & Got 2 Love It Bass Tour. 2nd. Place was won by the team of Gary Rodgers & Chris Abrel with 8.98 Lbs. Gary had the Big Bass of the tournament a 5.79 Lbs. Bass. He won $670.00. Congratulations to all the winners!
This tournament was the last in the 2004 Got 2 Love It circuit and what a great year it has been for us. We have averaged 78 boats in 5 events and we are going into the Classic in October with a $10.000 purse + prizes. I can't thank you all enough for your participation in Got 2 Love It events in 2004. I'm very excited about the future of our events with more sponsors joining us in the 2005 season. And the promise of more teams that will join us in 2005. I want to thank all of you & all that have helped us in 2004! Please don't forget the Big River Tournament on the 29th & the Kent Chaillaux Benefit on September 18. If you will not be attending the Classic please let me know as soon as you possibly can, there is one team that is left to substitute. Remember I must receive your entry by September 10th.
