Patoka - July 25, 2004

Greetings Anglers,

   Hope all had a good time at the Patoka Tournament on Sunday July 25. There were 73 boats, and the fish were biting. There were 135 fish caught with a total weight of 351.93 lbs.

    There was a $5530.00 pay out to the field of 73 Boats! With $1494.00 added to the Classic fund that is now at $6352.00 going into the last event of the year on the 15th. of August at Monroe.

    Congratulations to the winners: Scott McGlinchey of Indianapolis & Dale Allen of Whitestown, They brought to the scales a 5 fish limit that weighed 20.67 lbs. Earning them the 1st place prize of $2000.00.

    The Big Bass winner was Scott McGlinchey with a 6.18 lbs. Bass. That earned him $730.00 & a nice plaque.

    Kelly & Ken Ingle from Elberfeld, Indiana, came in a very close 2nd. & won $1000.00 for 2nd Place with a 5 fish limit with the total weight of 20.60 lbs.

    The 2nd. Big bass winner was Larry Roberts of Indianapolis with a 5.80 lbs. Bass. Larry was awarded a new G-Loomis Rod from Brian Hensley & Got 2 Love it Bass Tournaments. Great JOB Guys !!!!!

    Please don't forget about the PROWLER BAIT Challenge at Monroe next month! If you catch the winning weight on PROWLER BAITS you can win another few hundred $ for using PROWLER BAITS! So you better start stocking up on them now!!!!

    Also Tom Curts of C.F.R. Fiberglass has donated a Keel protector that will be raffled off at the drawing.

    This will be our last Qualifying event for the Classic so please come. There is only 61 teams that can make it going into this last event. There will be 6 teams that won't make it this season.

    We will also discuss the payback to the classic & what we're going to do next season. As of today I have 21 entries in the August 15th.Tournament on Monroe. See you all at Monroe!
