|
April 6, 2004
Dear Fellow Anglers,
What a fishery ----- It is safe to say that Patoka Lake is back! Thanks to all for your patience at the weigh in. The D.N.R. requires that all fish be measured and recorded. Probably playing a large part in the return of the fishery.
There was a total of 214 fish brought in. With a total weight of 665.5
lbs. weighed in. Pretty good considering the weather!
Congratulations to the 1st Place Winners Jay Knies & Ted Scheeter
with a limit of 5 fish, weighing 21.60 lbs. Also, congratulations goes to
Ted Pearson for his Big Bass catch of the tournament ( 6.49 lbs. )
We had a total of 105 boats in this 1st. tournament of 2004, contributing $2093.00 to the classic fund. Team # 28, Albert Colvin and son Shane were the lucky winners of a free entry into the classic October 9th & 10th at Lake Monroe.
We currently have 26 entries for the May 16th, tournament on Lake Monroe. So get your entries in to assure a good take off position.
We hope everyone had a good time and we will see you at Lake Monroe on May 16th.
Good Fishin'
